AIM Infotech
Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how AIM Infotech uses cookies and similar technologies on aiminfotech.ca. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They help websites work, remember choices and, where permitted, measure usage or support advertising.
How we use cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum. At the date of this policy, the Website does not set cookies when you simply browse its pages, and it does not load third-party analytics, advertising, chat, video or map scripts.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the Website to work and to keep it secure. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Session / security cookie: a session cookie strictly necessary for form security, which may be set when you submit a form, to protect against spam and abuse and keep the submission working. Expires when you close your browser.
- Consent preference cookie (when a consent banner is added): remembers your cookie choices so we do not ask again on every visit.
Analytics cookies (only with consent, if enabled)
We may add Google Analytics 4 in the future to understand how visitors use the Website. If enabled, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_<ID>, which can last up to two years. These help us count visits and see which pages are useful. We will only set them after you agree.
Advertising cookies (only with consent, if enabled)
If we run Google Ads with conversion tracking or remarketing, Google may set cookies such as _gcl_au to measure ad performance. We will only set them after you agree.
Consent and Google Consent Mode
Before any analytics or advertising tool is enabled, we will add a consent banner and implement Google Consent Mode v2. In practice this means:
- By default, analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are set to "denied".
- They change to "granted" only for the categories you accept.
- When consent is denied, Google tags do not store analytics or advertising cookies on your device; Google may receive limited, cookieless signals as described in its documentation.
- You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link on the Website once the banner is live.

Third-party links
The Website links to our Facebook and Instagram pages. Those links do not set cookies on our site, but those platforms set their own cookies when you visit them, under their own policies.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop forms from working. Help pages for common browsers:
You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and manage Google ad personalisation at Google Ad Settings.
Similar technologies
Besides cookies, websites can use local storage, session storage and tracking pixels. At the date of this policy our Website does not use these for tracking. If any tool we add relies on them, we will treat them the same way as cookies: strictly necessary uses will be listed here, and analytics or advertising uses will only run after you consent.
Why we limit cookies
We believe a business website should not track visitors more than it needs to. Keeping cookies to a minimum also keeps pages faster and makes your choices simpler. If you have questions about any cookie you see from our domain, contact us and we will explain what it does.
Changes
We will update this policy, including the list of cookies, before adding any new tool that uses cookies.
